The Bisly UM8 Pro controller is the monitoring and control gateway for the building automation system. It has 8 power relay outputs, 8 digital inputs, 4 PWM/0-10V outputs, 3 RS-485 Modbus interfaces, 1-Wire interface and an Ethernet port for Bisly onsite server communication.

Features:

  • DIN-rail mounting
  • Ethernet 10/100 Mbps main network with TCP/IP protocol
  • 3 encrypted (AES128) RS-485 Modbus RTU interfaces
  • 8 power relay outputs (2000W per channel, 48 A total controller current)
  • 8 Digital Inputs
  • 4 PWM/0-10V outputs
  • 1-Wire interface for digital temperature sensors

UM6 dimmer is used for modern lighting applications. It uses phase cutting technology and has 6 separate channels with a single channel maximum lighting power of 240 W. Dimmer communicates with UM8 Controller over RS-485 Modbus RTU interface and is also controllable by 6 digital input signals (impulse switches).

Features:

  • 6 x 240 W independently dimmable channels
  • RS-485 Modbus RTU communication
  • 6 Digital Inputs (impluse switches)
  • Leading/Trailing edge control
  • Luminaires dimmable from 0-100%
  • DIN-rail mounted

UMD dimmer is a small form-factor 2 channel controller and dimmer that is typically installed in the switch sockets. Single channel maximum power is 220 W and communicates with UM8 Pro controller over RS-485 Modbus RTU interface. Additionally, UMD has different possibilities for input and output control.

Features:

  • 2 x 220 W independently dimmable channels
  • RS-485 Modbus RTU communication
  • 3 Digital Inputs (impluse switches)
  • 4 Digital outputs
  • 1-Wire interface
  • Leading/Trailing edge control
  • Luminaires dimmable from 0-100%

In existing and new developments there might be a need to control DALI-based luminaries. Bisly UDB Modbus-DALI converter is DALI-1 and DALI-2 compatible and is used to control DALI luminaries with Bisly’s building automation system. Single converter is able to control up to 64 luminaries.

Features:

  • RS-485 communication interface
  • +24V Power input
  • DALI-1 and DALI-2 compatible
  • Up to 64 luminaires control
  • DIN-rail mountable

Sensors

The sensor combines multiple functionalities to monitor indoor environmental parameters and enhance automation. There are two versions – UMS Supersensor and UMS Air. It interfaces with UM8 Pro over RS-485 interface and is powered by +24V external power supply.

Features:

  • Installed indoor rooms and general areas
  • RS-485 Modbus RTU interface (with UM8 Pro Controller)
  • Air Quality measurement – CO2, VOC, Humidity, CO (optional), PM2.5&10 (optional)
  • LED status indicator – green, yellow, red LED indication on the sensor indicates the status of the room air quality
  • Lighting measurement – Kelvin and lux readings
  • Heating control – 24V (20W) output for hydronic actuator control
  • Presence sensor – PIR or 24 GHz radar is able to detect movement and presence people and animals
  • IO – 2 digital inputs, 3 PWM/0-10V outputs, 1 output power relay

Datasheet

The younger brother of the UMS supersensor is meant for cost-critical installations where air quality based ventilation is wanted but other features are not needed. It is typically installed in the mechanical ventilation exhaust port where it measures the entire apartment/building air quality and controls the ventilation speed accordingly.

Features:

  • Installed in mechanical ventilation exhaust section
  • RS-485 Modbus RTU interface (with UM8 Pro Controller)
  • Air Quality measurement – CO2, VOC, Humidity, CO (optional), PM2.5&10 (optional)
