Along with other milestones, 2024 has been a significant year for Bisly, as the beginning of the year saw the company entering the German market. The Estonian smart building solution provider started their partnership with German real estate development company Property ONE GmbH with the objective to implement their innovative intelligent building system at one of the developer’s properties. Following the success of the first project finalized over the summer, the parties have already agreed on their next joint venture, which is expected to start later in the year.
But, before discussing what’s coming next, here is an overview of how the partnership came to fruition and what the project entailed.
Getting things started
Bisly’s first German project located at Friedrich Ebert St.45, Düsseldorf, is a meticulously renovated property consisting of 12 modern apartments along with a versatile business space. The unique building is the epitome of the perfect blend, bringing together historic charm with cutting-edge technology and contemporary living. It was clear from the very beginning that this was an ideal project for Bisly to be involved in.
The project was the first international one for Bisly that saw the deployment of using a partner model. The cabling and installation of Bisly’s hardware was carried out by a local installation partner. Coordinating the installation of the intelligent building system from Bisly’s side was Mihkel Kõrgmaa, while Julius Beck, Bisly’s Regional Vice President of Business Development DACH, kept his keen eye on the progress as our local contact person. The project reached its successful completion at the end of July this year.

Access management is seamlessly integrated into Bisly’s solution, allowing homeowners, residents, and office users to handle intercom calls directly from the Bisly Hub or via the mobile app, no matter where they are in the world.
When it comes to enhancing office spaces, intelligent lighting control is provided by Bisly. This means that lights operate based on movement and ambient light levels. This is a great way to ensure that energy consumption is optimized according to actual requirements, resulting in significant savings in both energy and costs.
