Bisly Hosts Swedish Parliamentary Delegation to Talk About Cleantech

On September 4th, Bisly welcomed a Swedish Parliamentary delegation at its Tallinn office for discussions on cleantech innovation. The Estonian Cleantech Association collaborated with Bisly to organize the visit.

Why Cleantech Matters

2024 set records as the hottest year globally, underscoring climate urgency. Rising energy costs demand immediate action. Building automation represents a practical solution already available rather than theoretical future technology. International cooperation on cleantech remains essential to drive meaningful change.

How Bisly Helps

Bisly's presentation highlighted building automation's role in reducing Europe's energy consumption. Buildings account for approximately 40% of total energy use, yet automation adoption remains limited due to expensive, complicated legacy systems.

"If 85% of EU buildings were automated, the potential energy savings could reach 1.6 million GWh annually", comparable to India's annual usage.

A Broader Cleantech Perspective

The delegation also met with other Estonian cleantech companies including Zero Terrain, Qilowatt, H2Electro, Sol Navitas, and GlobeDry, showcasing diverse solutions to energy challenges.

Looking Ahead

As Bisly expands into Central and Western Europe, the company sees opportunities for international collaboration to accelerate building automation adoption and support sustainability transitions.
