Bisly participated in the Smart City Expo World Congress held from November 16-19 in Barcelona, Spain. The company was among eleven Estonian enterprises showcasing innovative smart products at the event, supported by Enterprise Estonia.
The fair attracted industry leaders, visionaries, and representatives from successful cities, research centers, universities, and manufacturers. Bisly's attendance generated new business contacts and opportunities to expand into fresh markets.
Market Opportunity
Recent fair insights revealed a significant demand gap. Many real estate developers, builders, and property managers seek energy-efficient building solutions aligned with EU Directive 2018/844, yet no "reliable, future-proof and affordable solution" currently exists in the marketplace. Bisly addresses this unmet need through its intelligent building automation technology.
Vision for Smart Cities
In smart urban environments, buildings operate with energy efficiency and healthy indoor climates while city planners use movement and traffic data analytics to make better-informed decisions.
Demo Strategy
Bisly developed a portable demonstration suitcase that simulates a functioning smart building, enabling fair visitors to experience the solution firsthand. The Smart City Expo gave Bisly a good opportunity to introduce its solution to new customers.
The company is now expanding into nearby markets including Finland and Norway.
