Run and support the building from anywhere
When the building is handed over, someone has to run it for the next 20 years. Bisly connects every building to one cloud platform, so the facility manager and the certified partner who delivered it see the same live picture and fix most things without a site visit, with Bisly support behind them. The automation runs on a network of its own, so tenant and office IT are never involved.

What a connected building gives you
Fewer site visits
Setpoints, schedules, alarms, user access and most faults are handled remotely by the facility manager or the service partner. A technician drives out only when hands are needed on site.
One login, every building
An owner or operator with several buildings sees all of them on one platform: alarms, energy and indoor air side by side.
Works with the plant you chose
Existing ventilation, heating and cooling plant controllers are supervised over standard protocols, whoever made them. Nothing is replaced to get the remote view.
Plug and play network
A pre-configured Bisly router and switches arrive ready; the building provides one internet connection and a rack. A 4G / 5G router covers sites without a fixed line, including during construction.
Separate from tenant and office IT
The automation has its own network behind its own router. Tenants never see it, and their IT never has to configure anything for it.
Monitored by your service partner
Every connected device reports in; the manager or the service partner is alerted the moment something misbehaves, before a tenant calls. Adam explains what happened in plain language.
Updates over the air
Software and security updates reach the building over its connection, with continuous cloud backups, so the system keeps improving after handover instead of ageing.
Secure by design
Only the building opens the connection to the cloud, and nothing in the building listens on the internet. bisly.cloud runs in the Microsoft Azure cloud behind Cloudflare's web application firewall and DDoS protection, with role-based access per user.
One line in, everything connected
Reserve 15U of rack space and one WAN connection from building IT; the rest arrives configured.
What this means after handover
Commissioning without the last-minute rush
Your certified partner pre-configures the controllers from the digital twin with Bisly's tools before the building is ready for the automation installation. On site, devices are scanned in and report back; the configuration is checked and corrected remotely, so the handover date does not depend on a laptop at every panel.
Operation from the desk
A tenant asks for a different schedule, the weather turns, a mode needs changing: the facility manager does it in the BMS and sees the effect in the trend the same day. User access, key cards and codes are managed in the same place.
Support that knows the building
The partner who delivered the building runs the service contract and works in the same platform as the manager, with Bisly support behind them: phone line, e-mail and portal, priority-based response with the most critical faults handled within the hour, and a two-year warranty on every site.
Built to be trusted with a building
Outbound only
The building opens the connection to bisly.cloud; there are no open ports and no VPN for the owner to maintain.
Encrypted on every link
Encrypted communication between Bisly devices in the building, TLS to the cloud, certificates and encryption on the wireless layers.
Keeps running offline
Control keeps running locally in the controllers through an internet outage; the BMS catches up when the link returns.
Who did what
Access is role-based per user; alarm acknowledgements and automation runs are logged with user and time.
Questions developers and owners ask
What does the building need to provide?
One internet connection and rack space in the technical room. Everything else, router, switches, server and controllers, arrives configured for the building.
Do we need to involve the tenants' IT?
No. The automation runs on its own network behind its own router. Tenant and office networks are not connected to it and need no configuration for it.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The building keeps running on its last schedules and setpoints; the Bisly Server in the building does not depend on the cloud. The BMS catches up when the connection returns.
Who can access the building remotely?
The people the owner authorises, with role-based rights: managers operate, administrators configure. The service partner works in the building under the maintenance agreement, Bisly support assists the partner, and every action is logged.
Who runs the building after handover?
The certified partner who delivered it holds the service contract and runs it with you, backed by Bisly.
Can we change facility manager or maintenance company later?
Yes. Access is per user, so the new team is added and the old one removed in the platform; the building and its history stay as they are.
Does it work with the ventilation and heating plant we have specified?
Yes. Plant from other manufacturers is supervised over Modbus and appears in the same views as Bisly devices.
Connected and run remotely
Mixed use, BACS class B: 69 apartments, 83 rental units and 2 commercial spaces on one platform; ventilation, substation, cooling and the solar inverter supervised centrally, redundant on-site servers with UPS, remote monitoring.
9 AHUs, heat pump and heat node, 110 rooms, BACS class B; alarms to the facility manager's phone and remote support for the operator.
